Vista Series was the last line of Squier guitars ever produced in Japan, between 1996 and 1998, and the line was famous for creating models that have not been introduced before by Fender, as part of a partnership with Tokai Gakki. The Jagmaster is the blend of a Jaguar and a Jazzmaster with a Stratocaster-type vintage tremolo and HH configuration. It's a shortscale guitar with a 24" length, 7.25" radius and 22 frets (post-Vista versions have 21 frets). The JGM-55 features a basswood body, and a maple slim C neck with rosewood fretboard. Equipped with high-output Fender Dragster humbuckers, the guitar is definitely the best choice for playing loud!

Vintage style tuners, 4-ply pickguard and bone nut are also stock. The guitar has been set up by a luthier, and had a fret polish so it works and plays properly. Pots are clean, pickups sound wonderful, no noise or crack can be heard at all. The guitar has minor finish wear, with a couple of small dings on the body, but it is an understandable condition for a 26-year-old instrument - the neck stamp says August 1997, see pics attached.
