Aria PRO II YS 300 double cut Made in Japan 1970's. In fifty years of guitar playing I had never seen one of these. It was different, not a clone or copy. It only appears in the Aria brochure dated 1979 (see the pic) and not in any earlier or later ones. This one has a gorgeous very fender like neck.

Three piece maple and a dark rosewood board, Jumbo frets with no wear. It's a Maple solid body too. When I bought it, it played really well but the factory wired humbuckers were very thin sounding (because I soon discovered they were actually single coils under humbucker covers). I swapped them out for a pair of generic humbucker sized P90s and it now sounds great, midway between a Tele and a Les Paul.

Add lots of drive into the front of a Fender amp with reverb and its very grungy/Neil Young. Original pups included for a laugh. Straight neck, excellent fretwork, electrics perfect, holds tuning well despite the inexpensive looking tuners. The neck has one very small ding on the back of no consequence.

The front of the body is very good considering the age. The back does have more marks, on the bottom edge in particular, but still not bad at all for 44 years old. No Issues, no breaks, no repairs. NO OFFERS CONSIDERED so please don't ask.
