Epiphone Les Paul Standard 2002 - From Samick factory Korea. Beautiful wine red finish with lovely figuring in the top (I've tried to capture it in the photos but they don't do it justice). Minor age related dings and scratches.
Other than a bit of buckle rash the only notable marks are a small scratch next to bridge which would probably buff out and v small dents in the finish on the back of the neck which is unnoticeable when playing. Frets in good condition, just some minor wear on 1st few frets. Currently set up with 10s. Action is pretty low 1.5-2mm with a smidge of relief in the neck which is where I like it. I've added a Faber ABR-1 bridge with brass saddles and nickel jack plate but all the original parts included.
I've also removed the'Rhythm/Treble' ring and scratchplate to show off more of the finish but again they will be included and easy to refit if desired. Pots and caps have been replaced with full size CTS and sprague orange drops.
Feels, plays and sounds like a guitar worth 4 times as much. This is a well looked after example of this model from the Samick factory (regarded as much higher quality than Indonesian and Chinese guitars). There are definitely Gibsons out there that feel cheaper than this! This item is in the category "Musical Instruments & DJ Equipment\Guitars & Basses\Electric Guitars".
