Firebird style Guitar Body, 2pc Poplar, 2xHB, rear cavity UK made #FB1. Found throughout Eastern United States. This body has been designed to use 25.5 scale Fender type necks.

Body Weight - 2.5 Kg. This wood has been used by the likes of Fender, Gibson & PRS as it is light weight and vibrant. All of our guitar bodies are cnc made but cleaned by hand.

These bodies will need final sanding and very light shaping we have left the radius off to allow binding if needed. They are supplied with all holes drilled except Neck AND BRIDGE.

The picture shows the body you will receive. Supplied with fitted black rear cavity plate.

The centre is raised up similar to a firebird. Neck pocket suits Fender type bolt on necks and the hardware is either Fender or Gibson compatible. Neck Pocket depth = 15.5mm. Heel width = 55.5mm.

Weight = approx 2.5. Fantastic value & Made in England. Heartwood is light cream to yellowish brown, with occasional streaks of gray or green. Sapwood is pale yellow to white, not always clearly demarcated from the heartwood.

Sometimes there is mineral stained colours ranging from dark purple to red, green, or yellow, sometimes referred to as Rainbow Poplar. Poplar typically has a straight, uniform grain, with a medium texture. Please look through all the pics to make sure this exactly what you want.
