MIJ Fender 506 Squier Tele / Telecaster Made in Japan E series 1986 Black

  
1986 Japanese E series Squier Telecaster. Fully set up with a fresh set of 10s. Not that common a guitar, the squier mij tele was discontinued in'87 when production was moved to Korea, I've had loads of squier strats but not so many squier teles. This is the 506 model, it has a one piece maple neck and the body has thick black poly finish; from what I can see online the body is either basswood or alder. Not a string through design, the neck on this is really, really nice though!

The neck has a Vintage 7.25 radius, loads of life left in the frets. It has its original alnico pickups and fender Japan branded Gotoh tuners(which are very stable).

The maple neck really adds a nice bright snap to the sound, this sounds great clean or distorted. This guitar is 34 years old as such it has a few dings and dents, one bad dent on the back(see last photo) having said that I have 2 year old guitars in worse condition!
