A beautiful Silvertone'Artist' lap steel electric guitar, made in the USA dating from circa 1950s. Features a stunning'mother of toilet seat' pearloid finished body, with a clear plastic fretboard with a gorgeous art deco design very of the time! 100% original, including hardware, wiring and chipboard case. These models uniquely featured Kluson Deluxe 3 on a plate tuners - the same used on Les Paul Juniors, etc, in the 50s! Original electrics - which are a work of art in their own right, including original Chicago USA made capacitor (pictured).

In very clean condition, well looked after with some signs of playing, but not a lot to note in terms of notable marks. Includes its original chipboard case, which is pretty worn and has loose stitching in places - but it has kept the guitar safe for the past 70 years or so and complements the guitar very well.
