Squier Stratocaster 50th Anniversary 1996 Made In China. This is a lovely old guitar. Becoming very rare and is ideal for beginners/experts alike. It plays really well for what it is.
Suffers from the usual Squier fret buzz thanks to the cheap nut and bridge they put on these old Squiers, but it has a nice warm tone overall. The fretboard is in lovely condition and the frets have hardly any wear on them. The body is heavily worn with multiple chips in the paint and a bit of buckle rash on the back.
A lot of the chips are hidden round the sides though so it doesn't look too bad on the face of it. All the electronics work perfectly. Currently tuned down to D standard tuning on nearly new 09-42 Elixir Nanoweb strings. Collection is from Leeds, LS15.
